Posting Issues of PISMP January 2007 Intake

The issues of more than 2000 trainee teachers that didn’t get any news from Ministry of Education regarding the posting to school approaching January has created anxiety among the trainee as well as education community. There had been much discussion varied from forum and facebook. 

Personally, approaching the end of December 2010 I managed to drop by the Ministry of Education. I talked with the representatives. They told me there wasn't any posting for our course till the accreditation of MQA. Only after the accreditation and meeting being carried out, the posting shall be arranged by the Ministry. After the state for posting had been determine, an application will be posted in the Ministry of Education websites. From the application, we can check on which state we are posted on. Only then we can contact the Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri to inquire which school we are posted to. 

Waiting patiently for government response, I was rather disappointed when no immediate response was given until  l the latest  news reported in the star on 16 January 2010. The article entitle PISMP grads only allowed to teach after getting approval.

At the same time, I was glad the community was concern about us. There had been a few news report regarding our situation.

However, I was curious which programme was accredited by MQA already and how was the progress. If anyone who know about the progress, do please inform me. Thank you.
