Looking out for food in some food stall, I managed to stumble upon two students of mine with their guardian. From a far, my pupil was calling me Teacher! I felt that I should at least say hi. The moment I walked near her and her parents. I was dumbstruck. I don’t know what I should say. So, I just asked where I they going. Yet, I don’t felt like I was doing a good job. It felt so wrong and awkward that I hope the parent was not offended. I also happened to felt like I should just hi from a far instead. What should I do? But now that I think over it, it may be a good experience for me to think about it on how to respond on next encounter with others.
I love to make meanings from alphabets, to share what I know and to express my concern on education.
